The other team catches the disc, and begins to move across the field toward their goal, tossing the disc between their team members. Details about tryout dates and time will follow (events begin in April after the Club Opening Day), but for now we are gathering interest in the team and contact information for future notifications. 2018 was our first season together and we made it to Nationals and finished in 11th place. We play in the Rec Field (Andy Lee Field), behind the Community Center and pool. We are looking to bring together a group of competitive players who are trying to balance high level club with realistic commitments.

We want our community to know that DiscNY is committed to supporting our Black community members. All genders are welcome to participate in this flying disc sport.

We run co-ed draft ultimate leagues in the Spring, Summer and Fall, held around Manhattan, Randall’s Island and the Bronx.

Note: the majority of practices and tryouts will be at Randall's Island, with some Brooklyn mixed in. This year, we are hoping to follow-up on that success and expect to fly to at least one tournament during the season to face other Select Flight and high level teams.
