Awesome remaster of early Smiths singles collection. Both are compilations, but because The Smiths’ timeline is so compressed they play well as albums.

He snatches ... disregarding the Peele sessions of tracks already established on the first album (which are excellent and offer those tracks new perspectives), the new material on this album is just superb, and arguably is the strongest string of tracks The Smiths ever compiled.
